Q: We’re renting an Airbnb in the Catskills and would love for you to come and photograph our family. How does this work?

A: Contact me to plan your family shoot. Tell me your ideas, how many people, and any special requests.

Q: I’d like to get a few personalized images of the kids alone.

A: Love that idea! We'll definitely get some individual shots of the kids. To make sure we don't miss anything, I'll create a shot list. We can review it together before the session and make sure we have plenty of time for all those special moments.

Q: I’m ready to book my session, how do I pay?

A: Ready to book? Click 'Book Your Shoot' in the website header. We accept all major credit cards.

Q: Can you tell me how your sessions work?

A: For location shoots, whether at your home or another chosen spot, I arrive an hour early to ensure optimal lighting and a safe environment. This includes scouting the best areas and, for outdoor locations, taking precautions like tick spray and checking for potential hazards. Your safety and the quality of your photos are my top priorities. If we're shooting indoors, I'll bring a studio light to supplement the existing setup.

Q: How do we prepare for our shoot?

A: To ensure a smooth and enjoyable photoshoot, it's helpful to prepare your children beforehand. Emphasize the fun and special nature of the event, and how it's a chance to capture beautiful sibling connections. We'll create opportunities for those 'big brother/sister' moments to shine. If any disagreements occur, I'll gently guide the session back on track.

Q: What happens after our shoot?

A: We'll wrap up with a celebratory high-five, marking a successful session! Your online proofing gallery will be available within 7-14 days, where you can select your favorite images. These selected images will then be professionally retouched and beautified within 4-7 days. Finally, you'll receive a Final Photo Gallery with download links for both web and high-resolution files, along with a shareable link.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

A: You have the option to reschedule your session up to two times. The new date must be within 14 days of the original session date. It's crucial to request rescheduling in writing at least three business days before the scheduled session. Please request rescheduling as soon as possible, as availability depends on my schedule. If you cancel the session with less than three business days' or are a ‘No Show,’ the session fee will be retained as compensation for the lost work.

Q: Do you know of a good outdoor location?

A: We understand that families have diverse needs for their photoshoots. That's why we offer two distinct locations. Our 5-acre hilltop property provides a private and serene setting with Catskill Mountain views, a stream, and seasonal beauty. Alternatively, the nearby Damascus community center offers a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere with a playground, swings, slides, and a soccer field, perfect for capturing active and playful moments.
