Standard Travel Policy (2026)

At Franny’s Photography Studio, we believe that a successful shoot begins long before the first shutter click. Our travel policy is designed to ensure the safety of our team, the security of our equipment, and a seamless experience for our clients and fellow vendors.

The Arrival Protocol

To provide the highest level of service, our team follows a strict pre-shoot workflow for every location:

  • Punctual & Prepared: We arrive at all locations approximately one hour early. This buffer allows us to scout the best natural light, test our equipment, and identify the most scenic areas of the venue.

  • Professional Integration: We arrive in professional company-branded attire. Upon arrival, we proactively introduce ourselves to venue management and fellow vendors, sharing our contact information to ensure fluid communication throughout the day.

  • Client Communication: You will receive a "Departure" and "ETA" update via text or email on the day of your session so you know exactly when we are on-site.

  • Safety First: We maintain a rigorous safety protocol. This includes the use of safety tape and cord management in high-traffic areas to ensure your guests and our equipment remain secure.

Investment & Rates

Based out of our Callicoon Studio, our travel rates are simplified to make your booking process effortless:

Local Radius: Within 40 mins of Callicoon: Complimentary

Regional Travel: 40 mins – 2 hours from Studio: $200 Flat Fee

Extended Travel: 2+ hours from Studio: $200 + Lodging

Note on Extended Travel: For the safety of our crew and the quality of your content, locations requiring 2+ hours of travel (or those ending after 9:00 PM) require one night of local hotel accommodation.

Logistics & Expenses

  • Tolls & Parking: Actual costs for tolls and valet/event parking are billed post-session where applicable.

  • Permits: Client is responsible for any location-specific photography permits or entry fees.
