When Hillary first reached out to me, she was almost apologetic — she had stumbled across my website only after she had already booked her wedding photographer. But honestly? That's one of my favorite things about living and working in the Catskills. We don't see it as competition here; we see it as community. My friends at Seminary Hill in Callicoon are some of the most thoughtful, detail-oriented people in the business, and I knew that Hillary and Adam were already in incredible hands for their big day. So when the opportunity came to be even a small part of their wedding experience, I was all in. The day before the wedding, we gathered Hillary and Adam's immediate family for an intimate photoshoot — and Seminary Hill made sure the setting was nothing short of magical, moving a table and chairs out in front of the apple orchards to create the most breathtaking natural backdrop. That's the thing about this place and these people: everyone shows up, everyone cares, and somehow it all comes together in the most beautiful way.
